Mobile & Tablet Resources

Playing App – Play Scrabble against friends, random opponents, or the computer. Some apps require Internet connection.

Word Lookup & Study Tools – Search, analyse and practise words, including build, anagram and pattern searches.

Adjudication Tools – Check word validity during gameplay. Only Collins Zyzzyva (desktop), ULU and Wali Timer are approved for WESPA-rated tournaments.

Game Timers – Manage clock time during matches, sometimes integrated with adjudication features.

Flashcards – Optional: Cram, Quizlet, Flashcards Deluxe (build or import your own sets).

Note on Mobile/Tablet Game Timers

Although mobile timer apps can be used to manage time during tournament games, WESPA tournaments accord higher priority to physical timers with buttons. Mobile timers may be used when there is no better option. Some include integrated word adjudication features.
