Date of Event: Wednesday 2nd December till Sunday 6th December 2009.
Venue of Event: The Zon Regency Hotel, Johor Bahru
Number of Games: 45 games over 5 days, with 9 games per day.
Start time is 9.00 am sharp daily
Format of Play: Swiss no-repeat with draw reset from Day 1 to 4. King-of-the-Hill with repeats for all 9 games on Day 5

Champion: RM10,000 + Trophy
1st Runner-up: RM5,000 + Trophy

6th position: RM900
7th position: RM800
8th position: RM700
9th position: RM600
10th position: RM500
Special prizes: Open:
Best performer for Senior citizen, 55 years and above: RM500
Best performer for Youth, 18 years and below: RM500
* Refers to players who did not finish top 10 in Open section
Lucky Draws: 3 Return air tickets to Causeway 2010
Registration Fees: Open: RM200
Equipment: Causeway-Customised Board, Tiles, Tile Bag, Tile Rack and Round Bag will be provided.
These customised items will be sold to players on a first-come-first-serve
basis. Details on the pricing with pictures will be released in due course.
